Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Robert L. Webbs Jr.

Pastor Robert L. Webbs Jr. is a dedicated servant of God, a respected leader, and a mentor whose life has been rooted in faith and ministry. A fourth-generation member of the Church of God in Christ, Pastor Webbs was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, to the late Bishop Robert L. Webbs Sr. and Evangelist Lola B. Webbs.

Pastor Webbs' relationship with God began at an early age. He was baptized with the Holy Ghost at the age of 14 and accepted his calling to preach at 18. He received his minister's license in his early twenties and was ordained as an Elder in 2002.

Throughout his years of ministry, Pastor Webbs has served faithfully in numerous leadership and ministry roles. He spent 16 years serving alongside his father as assistant pastor of Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ in Worcester, Massachusetts. His passion for ministry and his heart for people have also led him to serve in youth ministry, evangelism, and church leadership throughout the Church of God in Christ.

In 2009, Pastor Webbs became pastor of New Horizon Church of God in Christ in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he served a multicultural congregation. Under the leadership and mentorship of his father, Bishop Robert L. Webbs Sr., Pastor Webbs also served in various leadership capacities within the Greater New Hampshire Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and the Church of God in Christ.

Following the passing of his father, Bishop Robert L. Webbs Sr., Pastor Webbs was called to continue the work and legacy of ministry by serving as pastor of Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ in Worcester and New Birth Church of God in Christ in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Education & Christian Training

Pastor Webbs' Christian education and training have been shaped by the Word of God, church doctrine, and the mentorship of his father. He attended the C. H. Mason Seminary and studied Business Management at Worcester State College.

In 2026, Pastor Webbs earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology, further strengthening his biblical knowledge and preparation for ministry.

Family & Ministry

Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Webbs is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He and his wife, Evangelist Jacqueline Webbs, have shared 40 years of marriage and ministry together. They are blessed with their son, Robert L. Webbs III, and their growing family.

Pastor Webbs is passionate about serving God, strengthening families, encouraging the next generation, and sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ. His desire is to lead with humility, faith, and compassion while continuing the work God has entrusted to him.
